1290 VM curves with 1280?

Hi - I guess this is mostly a question for Paul. I use a 1280 on my mac. I noticed that the most recent set of curves seem to be for the 1290 - are these compatible with the 1280 as well? Also - they use the "Photo Paper" setting, does this imply 2880 dpi, or should they still be printed with 1440? Thanks :)
