Re: [Digital BW] Jerry - Dye Quad (was Epson 7500 what inks should I use?)

I was very interested in the lincoln inks at one point. There are only 2 problems: 1. becauseof the obsession with pigs in the marketplace they no longer supply their quads - although you can get their dye black from the colour inkset, 2. you have to use paper with a gelatine coat to encapsulate the dyes - RC-type papers. Also their most archival paper/ink combo with a 25 year life - the paper suppliers went bust and the folk who bought the rights will only remake that particular paper if a whole run is pre-bought. For more info check www.lincolninks.com . I still haven't seen an inkset with a better black or range of colours, especially yellows and reds.
