I'm using the channel mixer to create a grayscale and I've read where you should desaturate afterwards. I don't see any difference after doing so. What does it do exactly? Thanks, Tom Husband

It does nothing. Instead,change mode to grayscale,then you'll be cutting the size to 1/3,that makes sense...
