Depends on who you ask. The score on this forum, so far, is:
Thomas Fors says the Epson 2200 is as bad as the default
drivers. (he's sending me some samples from the Epson RIP and
IP) BTW, Tom, did you see Sandy's workflow?
Peter Palmieri hasn't done a complete test for metamerism
with the Epson RIP - he's only used daylight and
incandescent but under those conditions he says he
doesn't see any.
Chip Carter hasn't installed/run his yet.
Sandy Cornelius is getting nice results with negligible
metamerism and has posted a detailed workflow.

You need a grayscale reference card to make us of it, since
