New way to convert RAW to B/W!

If you haven't already heard Adobe has a new plugin to convert from RAW to RGB with Photoshop 7.01. I have just purchased the plugin and the results from my D1 files are nothing short of stunning. I have Bibble, Nikon Capture 3.5 and Qimage. I have no further use for them! What's this got to do with B/W I hear you ask. Well, one of the controls is the "Saturate" slider. Move it to zero and you have instant B/W RGB, what is more is that there is a "Shadows" slider that will darken or lighten the shadows for you as well. Along with exposure contrast etc you have a full set of controls which allow you to see in real time a preview of the corrected file (picture) I am still amazed at not only the RGB file that it produces but the B/W files as well. If you are a RAW file user go check it out. Oh, I have no connection with Adobe at all, just a user. Barry
