win 2000 piezo driver problems

2003-03-01 by Barry Gilliand <bgilliand@mindspring.com>

All,

Just upgraded my PC to win 2000 from ME. Now when I export from the
Piezo plug-in in the ink and media section of the piezo screen it
say "unsupported" I am using version 6.0.4 of the plug-in. It seems
that windows has placed the .icq files in both the system32/color
folder and in the spool/drivers/color folder. Any suggestions are
appreciated. I know this works, but I'm missing something. Thanks in
advance.

Barry-

I had a similar problem. Downloading and installing the newest driver
for the printer from the epson web site cleared it up.

Just finished installing the latest win 2000 driver from the epson
site, restarted, still getting the "unsupported" message. Any other
suggestions? Thanks,

Barry-

This is what I did to correct that problem on my system:
1. install the latest driver from epson (you did that)
2. search for "piezography" and manually delete everything in that
search
3. delete all the ICQ files
4. clean install from the piezography disk.

Hope that works.
