I don't know whether this is relevant to your quest, but my personal opinion (which of course is worthless) is that getting neutral B&W varies dramatically from paper to paper and the Premium Lustre paper is one of the more difficult to achieve this on. In fact it's the paper I intentionally use to do my B&W testing on because it is so difficult to get neutral. I will never use it when trying to make neutral B&W prints for display. I consistently get better B&W results, no matter what technique I use, with matte papers and the matte black ink. My best and most neutral B&W has come with the Velvet Fine Art and Endurance Matte.
