Advice sort

2003-03-15 by mcgillicuddytcb

Hi all,

Can somebody please help an idiot get his head round this please?
I've tried mixing my own quad ink set and had some limited success.
I now would like to try mono printing in a spare 1290 I've precured
but am not sure the best way to proceed.

Any thoughts would be appreciated on this or how to make it a
variable tone inkset.

Thanks again

RE: [Digital BW] Advice sort -- 1290

The MIS variable-tone inksets work very well on the 1290. The curves to
control the inkset are posted on the MIS web site.
See http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/workflow_roark.html

The new MIS Ultra-Tone B&W inkset with these curves should make an excellent
B&W solution.
