Hello Clayton. My name is steve and I am a photographer and I own a pro B&W
lab in Santa Monica Ca. I use Tri x and Tmax a lot and I have developer
combinations that work very well with that film. I really love Tmax 100 film
developed in acufine 1-1 for about 14 min at 72 deg. I also use Acufine with
Tri x for about the same time. I rate the Tmx 100 at 64 and I rate the Tri x
at 250. I shoot all up to 4x5 and 35mm Tri x is really beautiful with this
combination I hope that this is a help and if you want to talk sometime let
me know. Regards Steve

That's the developer that I used 30 years ago for Tri X and FP4,
is it still available in Europe ?
Scanning the old negatives (well preserved as I also used
formaldehyde then to harden the gelatine halfway the washing) I
get better prints than I ever did in the past (hated the darkroom
anyway).
