The ColorVision Suite is a good selection. To answer your question, it
includes Profiler RGB and Profiler RGB creates printer profiles for RGB
inkjets. So YES, the Colorvision Suite takes care of it.

| A little confused however if I need to get ICC profiles to compliment
| the Colorvision Suite or if the Suite takes care of it? I'm under
| the impression that they compliment one another.

QuadTone and Epson 1270/1280

2001-09-29 by buckwiet@yahoo.com

I'm new to this list and digital printing. I haven't even bought a
printer yet.

Does anybody have any comments on the above combo? I'm planning on
using a CIS to do long prints, i.e. 84". Any advice on tweaking the
above printers to do long prints?

Thanks,
Andy

Unless I'm very much mistaken Andy,

You could experience problems printing Anything > 44". A search of th elist
archives will give you some ideas and answers.

Andy, Nij,

The Epson driver is limited to 44" on the 1270 and 1280, so if you
want to go longer than that, the Piezo drive will print any length.
It might be possible to do longer prints using a RIP but I don't know.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
