2200/OPM light orange tinting profile
2003-07-04 by Antonis Ricos
I have uploaded another OPM profile - sort of a companion to the previous sepia ones - for tinting the paper base. Unlike the sepia profiles, this is not intended to print a real image, as it does not use any gray ink. Used at small percents, it will take away the ultra bright white of papers like EAM and make them more compatible with a warmer image. If you tint using the earlier sepia profiles (made for images) you will find that, even though they are true to the grayed out highlights of real antique prints, they are not useful where you just want to warm the paper without compromising the density of your highlights. To use just make a photoshop file (grayscale tiff) filled with the percent gray of your choice (start at 5% and tweak to taste). Print the file through this profile with OPM on the same paper you will print your image. I tend to print it after the image is already down - I don't think it makes a difference. have fun...
