The main problem, as I have been told by Ilford and Kodak, is the ISO of black & white papers is way too slow, especially fiber base. Also I think the color LEDs, lasers, or whatever is used for exposure is not silver friendly, light/dark/contrast wise. There is someone in the US doing some sort of black & white printing on (again I think) color - black & white paper made by Kodak. Someone on this list should have the link since this has been discussed before. There is also a digital enlarger out there that basically replaces the neg stage with a translucent LCD panel. Quality is not suppose to be very good and limited to 11x14 or so and has a price tag of over $30,000US. Mark Richard Coda wrote:
