Alessandro, the Epson driver can print custom sizes up to 44 inches
(1.1175 m) long. I guess (but don't know for sure) that some of the
third-party RIPs might not have this limitation.

Thanks Peter, 44" will surely do :-)

Hi Colin,

thanks for your reply. Yes, I can imagine the 1160 taking its time to cover 44 inches :-)
BTW, what papers do you use with 13" width? The Epson site lists EEM in rolls only for the 7500 and above (24", 36" and 44" width).

thanks,
Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,

Maximum length is 44 inches - I think it's the same for all Epson A3
printers. We do 44x13 inch panoramics on ours quite happily - but slowly!

Hi Alessandro,

We have only used the Epson 'Photo banner roll' of ordinary gloss paper.
Part number is C13S041233, but it's not a very good paper. We're looking
at getting a 2100 soon, and would be keen to get something better in 13
inch rolls. I believe some people around the list have attacked wide
rolls with bandsaws or knives and very long straightedges!

Try inkjetart.com. There is a nice weber/Valentine roll paper that I
use for large wall system prints that is moderately priced. Also The
Legion PE Velvet comes in 13" rolls. I use them with MediaStreet
Generations Ink on a 1280 with good results.
