1280 clogging! Where's that Windex trick?

1280 clogging! Where's that Windex trick?

2003-08-27 by wooismyid

My 1280 clogs often and drastically with the MIS VM inks. I've searched through the
archives and FAQs and found info on using Windex for cleaning the printer's rollers,
but am not sure of how to use it to de-clog the heads. I read the article once a while
ago, and I recall that it has something to do with parking the head and unplugging
the printer.

If anyone could help me out with the details of this procedure I would be very
appreciative. Thanks!

Here's the link:
http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/cone_ts/index.html
Go to #9: "The clog from hell"
Read the instructions, pay attention to the last couple items. I
think they are #'s 9, 10, & 11
Good luck!
By the way, I've used formula 409, and it does'nt do as good of a job.
