quadtonerip 2 not working

quadtonerip 2 not working

2003-08-30 by not_ai

I got the error in error_log file:
Invalid printer settings!

I compiled cups1.19, gimp-print-4.2.5, and the latest quadtonerip
beta. The printer is epson 2200, and I got it working with standard
gimp-print drivers, but no luck with quadtonerip. I think that
quadtonerip assumes an old format of ppd file that cannot be handled
by the gimp-print-4.2.5 driver.

Any help would be appreciated.

On HP-UX 10.20. Porting quadtonerip from linux to hpux is
straightforwad and I do not see that would be a problem (maybe I am
wrong:-)

The problem is in if rastertoprinter.c, at line
(stp_printer_get_printfuncs(printer)->verify(printer, v))

I assume this is where setting specified in .ppd file and user input
and validated. The code under RasterSrc is not uptodate with the
cups-1.1.19.

Any help would appreciated!
