Problem with calibration of Quadtone's Inks

Problem with calibration of Quadtone's Inks

2003-09-08 by steve70_giochino

Hello,
I use the CFS system with MIS VARIABLE TONE B&W INKSETS (
with Paul Roark Workflows and Epson driver) in my Epson 870 and paper
Epson Archivial Matte. Others setting:

- Color Space: ADOBE RGB
- I use curves NCA for Epson 870 and "no color adj." on Epson driver
- I calibrated the monitor with Photoshop (I haven't problems with
this configuration for others prints)

My prints are too light e with low contrast, why?

Thank you

Stefano

Stefano,

You probably just need to profile your monitor. I used the Photoshop 6
preview feature/procedure. A very good description of it have been done by

I hope this does the trick.
