Digital BW, The Print

having problem making super wide prints.

i usually make my portfolio prints via Quark since i have more control as far 
as framing and print position. (windows XP, Photoshop 7 & Epson 1280 printer)

I created a few panoramas that would end up in sizes such as 13" high and 85" 
(for galleries), but having a problem printing them in either Quark or 
directly from Photoshop.

Setting the page size to roll paper turned the image vertical, to save on ram 
but still nothing.

Any one with super large prints (roll paper) experience?
