Centering prints with QuadTone Rip 2 and Epson 2200

Centering prints with QuadTone Rip 2 and Epson 2200

How are you guys doing this? I have downloaded the new Epson driver
for the 2200 and now my prints are centered using the Epson Driver, but
not with the QTR software...Any ideas?

Unfortunately, the centering code is based on the printable area not the
paper itself. So it's unaware of the uneven margins. It should be consistent
though. So figure out how much you need to nudge an image up/down or
left/right and it should be always the same. Also it's different for portrait versus
landscape setups.

So...If I change the margins using the custom margins by the same amount...It will be
fine? This is basically what I have done and I have a custom size for a landscape and
a custom for portrait in each paper size.

I've never tried it but it sounds like a good solution.

Thanks.

I've been setting up the print, under "page set up" in the "Print with Preview" area as one
of the gimp print printers (without using the quadtone for this part), and then setting up
the quad tone RIP printer under "Print." This allows me to use the quadtone curves, but
the pages come out centered.
