Philip - If the color casts change under daylight, tungsten and
fluorescent, sounds like metamerism. I've never been successful
in eliminating it with Ultrachromes, despite eight or nine different
"solutions." Finally, I installed the new Septone inks and my prints
are almost metamerism/color-cast-free. There's a very slight
magenta (maybe 2M cc filter) in daylight with the paper I'm using,
but even for a stickler like me, it's quite acceptable.

Hi Ken, thanks for the matamerism tip.

At the moment I would just be happy to get a clean (green cast free)
print under one light source. Any tips on creation of a profile that
will give me neutral greys.

Philip

Have you tried Roy Hamilton¹s QuadTone RIP. I am getting very good results
using this and it has the advantages of using the original OEM inks and
being free (thanks to Roy¹s awesome generosity).

Regards

Steve
