ImagePrint connectivity with IBM T21 and EPSON 2200

Try as I might, I have been unable to establish connectivity with an IBM T21 portable computer (with PCMCIA FireWire adapter) and an EPSON 2200 through a FireWire hub. The system works well with all other applications such as Photoshop 7.0, etc. To the best of my knowledge, I have tried all of the remedies offered by Colorbyte. Are there other suggestions?
