Is there any forum for color printing? I can't get any good prints
out of a 1280/90 printer with MIS Glossy Pigment Inks or the older
style Perpetual Archival Inks. Please help. Ralf
There's the Archival Group at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/archivalcolor/
It doesn't seem to be as active as this group however.

There's the color theory group (Yahoo) - it's supposed to be about
color management, but there's a lot about color printing in it, too.

Hi there,
I have been using the MIS GP inks on a 1280 since this summer and
have been getting good results. What type of paper are you using,
(Matte, gloss/semigloss)? Which Black ink? Have you made, or aquired
custom profiles for your ink/paper combination?

Just out of interest, I get very good results on matt papers using
these inks, but a custom profile is a must (I use Dry Creek who are
excellent), the canned profiles are just awful.
Kind regards
