I'm printing from XPP now and have a similar problem. Converting
the B&W file from 16 to 8 bit did the trick here. Could be the
file size or the bit depth.

Hi Ernst,

The file I'm trying to print is in the QTR distribution, 
CurveDesign/Images/qtrip-big.jpg. It's a small, 8 bit color
jpg. So I don't think the file size or bit depth should be
an issue. If I convert it to grayscale, I get exactly the same
errors in the cups error log. Worth checking though, thanks.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
