Epson UltraSmooth

Epson UltraSmooth

2003-11-02 by grdglass@aol.com

At PhotoPlus Expo, Epson was calling their UltraSmooth paper "UltraSmooth
Fine Art Paper." They were showing three weights: 250, 325 and 500gsm. Epson
has positioned UltraSmooth in its Professional Media category.

I saw conflicting information in the Epson booth about which weight will be
available as cut sheets. It's either the 250 or 325. Only one weight will be
available in sheet form.

Epson has positioned PremierArt Scrapbook as a consumer paper. BTW, Scrapbook
is thinner at 12 mil, while UltraSmooth 250gsm is 15 mil.

So Epson will be selling under two names (Ultrasmooth & PremierArt)
the entire line of PremierArt Paper.
