So, don't use a dimmer for the most accurate color. And, as tungsten lamps age, the color temperature cools (more orange) as well. unless you are using new halogen lamps designed for photography and rated at 3200k, you might want to use a color temperature meter to test the color of the lamps and add color correction gels til they hit close to 3200k. It might be easier to shoot daylight film with a daylight electronic flash for accurate color. -bruce
