Hi JVee,

Understand that these are the first photographs I have sold....

I priced the 7x9 photos matted to 11x14 and sleeved at $25.
The 16x20 photographs matted to 20x24 and aluminum framed priced at
$135.

Just a somewhat arbitrary pricing based upon what I had seen at other
area shows. ( a bit lower than what I have judged average for more
'established' photographers )

SideNote : I relocated my website to a paid account on Tripod with a
5GB monthly quota. Hopefully problems created by the absurd bottleneck
of BellSouth's bits/day rate has been solved.

Best,
Alex

Enjoyed your photos very much. I'm curious what you used to get these
images?

Thanks for all the positive comments - but some caustic
critique might be more educational <smile>

It has been most frustrating since I put up the site
yesterday to know that many, including Me could not
access it.

Details:
Mamiya 645 using Ilford Delta 100 film
Developed with Barry Thornton ExactolLux .
Scanned at 2000 dpi with a Polaroid SprintScan 45
using VueScan software.
Processed mainly in PictureWindows Pro before passing
to the Piezography driver for output on an Epson 3000
using PiezoTone Selenium inks.....

For the 7x9s I use an Epson 2000P with MIS FSE inks.

Looking at all of the photos in one place is interesting for
me also: I can see a collage of the techniques I have been
exploring and attempting to refine.

Best,
Alex

Alex,

The "tripod" link does not work for me either. This is the message I see at
the top of the page: Sorry, but the page or the file that you're looking for
is not here.

First Show : OT webhosting

2003-11-11 by B. Alex Pettit Jr.

I set up a new webhosting account this afternoon on Tripod.
All was working initially, but I needed to change the name of my
primary file to index1.html. I did so with NameSecure in the domain
name URL link, but then found I was totally unable to access Tripod to
FTP the update !!
All is working again ! This is becoming too tedious.
Thanks. I think I have 166 MB of daily access, so it should be
somewhat more difficult to overrun this bandwidth ! I never
anticipated this 'challenge'.....

I can again access Tripod. The 'file is now there'.
All the Home links work. I am going back to sleep.

Smiles,
- Alex

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
