No, this activates the cleaning cycle, as Keith said.

  I believe if you push the PAPER feed button, and hold it down for a 
  few seconds, the carriage will move to the left, and you can remove 
  the carts, then after you have replace the carts, press the same 
  button, and the carriarge will return to park.
  No question is stupid if you do not know the answer!

I must apogise for the stupidity of my last post, I did have a crying one year-old on my knee at the time, and that is my excuse!   Keith's answer to Richard's question is quite correct.
