No, YOU can't get IR from RGB... people who actually have experience do it
all the time.

It's best to evaluate arguments on their own merit, rather than on the
basis of preexisting beliefs, IMO.

I don't have any narrowband yellow filters.  In fact, I never use
filters at all for original image capture, except for UV filters (and
that is more for protection of the lenses than for any other purpose).

I know you don't. Just like you don't have a B/W inkjet.

the world is irrelevant.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
