$5 prefilled carts from MIS, good for cleaning clogs?

$5 prefilled carts from MIS, good for cleaning clogs?

I always keep a set of original Epson carts for my 1280 to use in
cleaning clogs or diagnosing possible CFS problems. I notice MIS has
el cheapo inks carts for $5 and say the ink is like the Epson ink.

Has anyone tried these $5 MIS carts to see if they work like the
original Epson ones for cleaning subborn clogs?

I'd just ask Bob Zeiss but I never have time to call during the day
and he admits that he's not too good about answering e-mail.

Bob,
I have used these carts in my 890 for about three
months now for printing test prints and for stuff I
don't expect to be archival. I find the carts are not
discernbly different from OEM carts. I can't speak
for fading or other issues. My non-expert opinion.
