Epson 1280 and Bulk Inks

Hello, I'm fairly new to this group and would like to ask my first question or questions! I just bought a new Epson 1280. It still sits in the box as I have been researching inks and papers. I do digitally edited fine art that includes both black and white and color imagery within the same piece. I sell this work in very small editions. I plan on using a pigmented ink and continuous inking system in this printer. My first question is: Has anyone used the CIS and Niagara systems? Which is best and why? Second: I am thinking of using either Generations or MIS pigmented inks, any recommendations? Third: I am also thinking about using the Epson Archival Matte paper designed for the 2000 because it is supposedly set up for pigmented inks. Does anyone have any experience with this paper and either MIS or Generations ink? Fourth: I have connected the 1280 yet, hoping that I wouldn't need to flush it if I started off with the bulk pigmented inks, is this true? Thanks in advance! Malcolm
