Oriental Graphica FB - more experience?

Oriental Graphica FB - more experience?

2003-12-09 by Mitch Alland

I have just had a message from Oriental that the Oriental Graphica
paper will be available February in 24 inch rolls. I've read Carl
Schofield Oct 26 posting on DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint regarding his
experience with this paper. Any more conclusons on this paper? Does
anyone know how the bronzing compares to Epson Semi-Matte?

Hi,

I've been experiencing slight bronzing with Eboni Black and
printing BO on Epson 2200.

Have you tried using a simple curve to limit peak ink load?

No. Is this done in PS or within the Epson software?

In PhotoShop.

Simply download and print a 21 step wedge..

Note at what % the bronzing starts.

Create a curve in Photoshop that limits the OUTPUT level to just below
the preceding %...

Tweak the curve to increase the small loss in apparent contrast..

Voila!
