QTR and 7500 with UT

QTR and 7500 with UT

2003-12-16 by jharvey@isd.net

Please let me know if anyone is using QTR with UT Inks on Mohab or
Photo Rag with a 7500. I'd appreciate it if you could attach a copy
of your curves so that I may check mine against yours. I also wonder
if anyone has tried both the 7500 drivers and the 7000 drivers on a
7500 to see if there is any advantage of one over the other. I know
there were some problems with Epson 7500 drivers using the VM inks so
that some chose to switch to the 7000 drivers. I'm still having
trouble getting a really smooth curve using only the 3 gray inks and
the black. Is it possible to Linearize and then take that Linearized
curve and relinearize it to make it smoother?

Hi John,

What do you mean by not smooth? Dots or uneven steps?
