QTR beta 9, 2200, Ultratone

QTR beta 9, 2200, Ultratone

Hi QTRists,

Here are a couple quick questions

1. I am minutes away from finally putting my UT carts in my 2200
and I want to make super shure I can exchange the color OEM
carts and UT carts. The color positions I am taking out still have
a good amount of color ink in them and I don't want to
accidentaly waste it. So it is okay isn't it? Also are the color
cartridges self sealing like the black inks?

2. Carl I am running the beta 9 version of QTR and was
wondering if your UT beta 8 curves will still work, or at least be a
good starting place, for beta 9. I know 9 made the most changes
in relation to the 2200. I also use a 1200 with QTR and the
change from 8 to 9 appears to have made no difference. Are the
curves significantly different for the 2200?

Thanks

The Epson OEM carts have self sealing poppet valves and are easy to
store and re-use. The MIS UT carts for the 2200 do not have self
sealing valves and they will leak profusely if not re-taped when stored.

There are new curves included with beta9 for the UC inks, but I haven't
made any new curves yet for the UT inks under beta9. Try the old ones
as a starting point.
