what options for printing black and white

what options for printing black and white

2003-12-26 by jerdiakiw

I am pleased with my first attempts with my black only using
claytons jones workflow with my 2200, ps8, winxp and matte black
epson enhanced matte, and haven't put in my newly arrived eboni
black yet but am interested to know what all the other options are .
Printing b/w with all the colors certainly had an unacceptable
magenta color cast that I am not prepared to fiddle with when I can
get the bw with black only
but i keep hearing reference to quad? UT2 ? peizography? etc
is there a summary of the diffferent options and the plus and
minuses of each? Or should I relax and enjoy what I am getting so
far? Is the grass is not all that greener on the other side?

Hello Jerry,

I think you can find comparisons on Clayton Jones' website listed here
