XP2 Super

At the end of a shoot I ran out (incredibly dumb!!!!) of PortraBW 400 which I normally use for B&W and had to use a couple of rolls of XP2 I had in my bag. Comparing the two I much prefer the Portra but perhaps I haven't tweaked my scanner properly for XP. I would be interested in what settings might be suggested for a Nikon 4000ED for XP2 Super using either Nikon Scan or VueScan.
