Silverfast

2004-01-12 by Trish McAuslan

Hi All
I have an Artixscan 4000t which has caused many headaches. I use a
MAC and have OS 10.3 (Panther) on my machines. Although we have
downloaded the drivers for the OS X from the Artix website they have
been so unreliable that we have had to reinstall OS 9 just to run the
scanner. I have just heard that SilverFast have released v6 software
which they claim will support the Artixscan 4000t. Before I download a
demo version to try I am interested to know if anyone else has used the
SilverFast software and how they have found it.
Cheers
Trish

I am using v6 on Panther, but with a Howtek. It works fine.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
