Cone vs. MIS ????

Cone vs. MIS ????

2004-01-14 by Bill Schwab

After having made an order to Inkjetmall for the
Piezography BW ICC set, I found the software was
backordered. In the meantime I visited MIS and
purchased the UT-2 inkset, had great success and
cancelled the Cone order. I love the MIS inks and my
results, but today I get a package in the mail and it
is my cancelled order from Inkjetmall. I'm now staring
at the box wondering if I should open it up and give
it a try, or send it back. Pro's and con's of each?
Any help with the decision greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill I can only relay my amateuristic attempt at all of this. I had
midtones block up, shadows blocking, posterization with the
Piezography system that I received last month. I have used an
extraordinary amount of paper to no avail. I ordered the MIS UT2
ink set and I truly cannot believe how nice my prints are turning
out.

Thanks Joe,

I appreciate your help. After reading your experience and that of
the thread started just before my post ( MIS UT Inks Great!), I've
decided to send the box back. As of yet I've had no trouble with the
UT-2 set and it's not worth clogging my machine for curiosity sake.

Thanks Again,

Bill
