Paul, have you figured out yet whether the MIS UT-22 inkset will work with
the 7600?

The new variant of UT2, which I think we'll start calling the UT2-2200 (as
opposed to UT2-1280), is working so well on the 2200 that I'm 99% sure it
will work on the 7600. I assume that the UltraChrome inks are the same for
all the Epson UC printers. As such, although there may be some driver
differences, I'd guess they are minor enough that the inks will work with
only minor changes in the curves.

I suspect MIS will be able to have the UT2-2200 in an "experimental" mode by
the end of the week. There are differences between the 2 variants of UT2,
so don't buy and load the UT2-1280.

Paul,

Wondering if any more has come of UT-22 and the 7600. I'm ready to
dedicate a 7600 to them if you think it is ready to go. I'm not sure
if you've been able to try it out on one yet. I'm willing to be a
Guinea pig if not. I'm not far from MIS and was hoping to get one of
their CFS sets and start a new printer from scratch. Printer should
be here in the next couple of days. Let me know if I can help.

I have one more variant of the inkset I want to test in the 2200 first.
I'll try to get to that today.

No, I don't have one.

That sounds like a good plan to me. I'll see if MIS is on board.
