Good source for EEM paper, testing Condor BW

Good source for EEM paper, testing Condor BW

2004-02-21 by jim0266

Looking around the other night I came across http://www.2buystore.com/
They have EEM paper (S041341) in 50 sheet boxes 8.5x11 for $11.44 a
box plus very low shipping charges. Does anyone have a good source for
paper they can pass along?

Last night my samples of Hawk Mountain's Condor BW and Merlin Smooth
arrived. I really love the neutral coolness of the Condor BW. It's
cooler than EEM. The Merlin Smooth was a little warm for my taste but
only apparent when you had them side-by-side. I'm BO print with the
MIS Eboni ink.

Atlantic Exchange has the lowest cost 8.5x11 EEM that I found --
$11.42/50 sheet box. My 2-cents worth :)

God is in the details. Check the shipping costs. Unless one company is
better than another 2buystore.com has lower shipping costs. I was
looking to buy 10 boxes. atlex.com was $5.75 higher

I know all of what I am about to say depends on where you live and
accessability to other sources of supply locally. I just went to
the website below (www.atlex.com). You must purchase at least 25.00
dollars worth of supply and shipping (ground) would cost me 8.70
dollars. If I go to my local store which has EEM for 14.00 plus 5%
sales tax I come out cheaper and have it immediatly. just a
thought. Be aware of shipping costs is the take home message here.

For those folks still following this thread, Buy.com list EEM under
the old name of Epson Archival Matte. Use this to find it or use
the Epson part # S041341.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
