I've just run through my first set of EZ B&W inks on the C84 and 
am getting great prints, once I figured out the right image 
adjustment curve. I get a dmax ranging from 1.65 to 1.72.

I keep everything in Adobe RGB (1998) and the print space as 
"same as source." I click the custom- advanced button and set 
"best photo" and "No color adjustment." Seems to work for me.

I use PS 6.0.1, so I can't help on the proof setup.

George, can you give an idea of what your adjustment curve is 
doing?
