Paper types

I gather some papers marketed by the likes of Permajet, Lyson etc aren't made by these companies, and are also available under other suppliers or manufacturers names. Is there a list anywhere on the net showing what paper is the same or similar to another? The reasoning behind this is determining if stocks of paper I already have and use for colour printing will match the paper profiles for a yet to be decided B&W inkset. Steve Bell
