Hahnemulhe William Turner and UT2

Hahnemulhe William Turner and UT2

2004-03-18 by mkitei

I've just ordered a 1280 and the MIS UT2 inkset. I'm hoping to
use it with Hahnemuhle's William Turner paper, however, I don't
see a curve for that paper among the downloads. Any
suggestion. Also, any other recommendations for best matte
papers to use.

Extremely beautiful paper, you won't find anything similar as an
alternative. I don't know about the UT2 workflows, but I'll bet any
existing curves for other Hahnemuhle papers will get you very close.
Be sure and brush that paper before printing on it.

My long-time favorite paper was Torchon, remarketed much more cheaply
as Media Street's Riviera. I quit using it, though, because of it's
"flaking" problems (my own theory is that the paper doesn't actually
flake, but that the ink pulls apart). I would assume that the coating
is the same on various Hana papers, but I don't know. Does W Turner
have the same coating? What is Media Street's version called?
