Digital BW, The Print

Hello,

I just got my epson 2200 in today, and I wanted to try printing with 
the epson photo black ink in black only.

I set the printer for 2880 dpi, black only, gamma is 1.8.  Anyway, I 
did get a brownish (sepia cast to the print)

Just wondering?  Anyway, the eboni ink I ordered will be in tommorow.

Yes, the Photo Black ink prints very warm and has rather poor Dmax on
matte papers.  However, the Epson Matte Black is less warm and has
excellent Dmax.  The Eboni ink will be even less warm than that, also
with excellent Dmax.

Congrats on the new 2200.  I use Eboni in mine for BO prints with
really good results and no clogging problems.
