Do you think it's possible to use the UT2 MIS inks with an Epson 
1290 and Piezography drivers?
Did someone try?

I tried it for fun and can honestly say no.  It prints
excessively dark with lots of pretty colors, yet very
smooth highlights wihout dither...

You can use the MIS Full Spectrum / FS Neutral inks
with the piezo driver.  Buy the cartidges specifically
labeled for the "R9" or Piezography driver.
