I don't see ICM setting in my setup. Do you print from Photoshop or Qimage? I find that I can print using print preview in Photoshop using Atkinson profiles and no color adjustment and match my monitor almost dead on when printing color but my B&W has a green caste. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using an Epson 4000 and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 188. I've only done a few test prints. I got the same cast also initially. I have not tried it with QImage yet, just Photoshop. The settings are identical for color or B&W, but completely different from Atkinson/9600/7600 methods. In Photoshop, after selecting File/Print with Preview, you set the color management/Print Space/Profile box to "Printer Color Management." You then select Page Setup/Printer/Properties, them Mode/Custom/Advanced. Select ICM as the last choice in the Printer Color Management area. Three boxes will immediately come up below under the heading ICC/ICM Profiles. The first box will say Standard, the next will give you rendering intent, of which, I only use Perceptual or Relative Colorimetric. The proper Epson canned profile will then be selected automatically with the Media Type selection. You will then get Neutral B&W prints. There may still be metamerism for the purists, but it's saleable to most people. This is a damn nice printer. Good luck Claude. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
