BW digital photos.

2004-04-12 by Jim Stathus

Greetings:

I've received much help from this group for which I am grateful.
This is my first two cents worth so hope it has value. I have been
shooting BW on BW settings with and without built in yellow and red
filters on my Kodak 4800 for some time now. I record as an
uncompressed tif file (about 9.8 meg) and go from there. I print on
EEM on a C82 using MIS out of the box. The Kodak does have a problem
in blown out highlights so you have to be careful, but I haven't
found a digital that is truly perfect yet. I'm still waiting. Using
Imager software judiciously I am able to go larger than 8x10 with an
outside printing source.

Jim & Zinger the photo dog.

Hello Jim,

Sounds interesting. Do you have a web site where some of these images
can be seen?

When you say C82 with MIS do you mean the UT EZ ink set?

Clayton
