UT7 on 2100 or UT2 on 1290?

Hello, I have actually a 2100 here that has to be serviced. In the meanwhile I need a printer anyway, so I wonder if I should not get a 1290 and a set of UT2 inks. Will the upcoming UT7 for 2100/2200 give better quality or more flexibility than the 1290 UT2 set? THe advantage is that the 1290 is available right now, and the ink solution is less expensive than the 2100 set. Does anyone know what the 2200 UT7 packet will offer? Is it worth while waiting for it? THanks for any input, Bernie
