HP Premium Plus = HP Colourfast?

HP Premium Plus = HP Colourfast?

2004-04-24 by Richard Smallfield

Hi,
here in New Zealand, we don't seem able to get HP Premium Plus paper, but can get HP Colourfast, which the bloke in the shop told me was rated at 70 years.

Is this just a repackaged Premium Plus?

thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,
I am in Australia and have been told that HP premium plus paper has
been discontinued here and replaced with Colourfast. I have been
using it for several months now and it seems to be about the best
paper to use with the HP7660. I have tried many others (Kodak Ultima
& Ilford Gallerie are also excellent) but if you want a good acrhival
lifespan the Colourfast paper is the way to go.

Cheers,
Paul.

Does anyone know for certain if HP "Colourfast" paper (as sold in NZ and Aus) is the same as "Premium Plus" and is not merely "Premium"?

Thanks,
Richard
