Photokit sharpener

Photokit sharpener

2004-04-30 by Stephen Kobrin

Does anyone have experience with Photokit sharpener? Any reactions,
postive or negative? I have been using Nik sharpener pro. While I
am generally pleased with it, it has limited user controls and does
not work well on portraits. Photokit appears to provide much more in
the way of user control and is based on a "three pass" sharpening
approach. However, if it simply automates edge sharpening it would
be easy enough to write a photoshop action to do that.

Steve, Photo Kit Rocks, it is by far the best and most versatile sharpening
program on the market. It will substantially help everyone¹s photos. Try the
demo version but spend some serious time with the manual. You will find that
it dramatically improves the sharpness and smoothness of you images.

Hi Stephen...

I recently purchased PhotoKit and am pleased enough with it that I just
joined the Yahoo PhotoKit group so that I can learn more. I think this
product is worth the investment of time. Luminous Landscape has a good
review.
