QTR2 and 1280-UT2 Curves

QTR2 and 1280-UT2 Curves

2004-04-30 by Tom Husband

I see the the 1280 printer curves in ExampleInks but I'm using the UT2
inks. There's a .sit file on Roy's site called 1280-UT2 that I
downloaded to my home directory but I'm not clear on how to unzip and
install it. Can I get a hint?

Thanks!

Tom

It's a StuffIt file. I think there's a linux version. In general the un-stuffer
is free. Check out www.stuffit.com

If it doesn't work, I could send you some other compressed format.
Do you have zip?

Thanks Roy. I found Stuffit for linux but I'm not sure how or where
to install them once they're extracted. Would I unstuff and then
copy them to the ExampleInks directory?

In the folder is an Install script. It's a shell script that I think ought
to run on Linux. So you ought to be able to just go to the folder
and run it. The script works on curves that are in the same directory.
