Digital BW, The Print

I made a spectral analysis of a 21 step wedge printed black ink only 
(UC matte K) with the Epson Pro 4000 on both EEM and Condor BW.  A 20% 
dot gain print space was used to print the wedges at 1440 dpi with the 
EEM media setting for both papers.  The CMY and visual density data and

I liked the neutral (very slightly selenium) tone of the Condor BW 
print and more importantly, the tonal consistency across the grayscale. 
  In contrast, EEM prints relatively warm in the midtones and shadows 
and then shifts towards neutral/cool in the quarter tones.
